PBSI expanded its law enforcement offerings to include academy development and corrections in the first quarter of 2009. Drawing on its successful forensic programs PBSI has assembled a core group of advisors with decades of experience implementing law enforcement training programs within the U.S and internationally in post conflict and developing nations to coordinate the implementation of its law enforcement programs. PBSI law enforcement development programs utilize a holistic approach that focuses on the development of basic police skills and proven police management practices to establish a functional civilian police force and achieve sustainable reform. PBSI experience in law enforcement in post conflict and developing countries includes academy development and reconstruction, anti-human trafficking, border management, corrections and prison reform, counter narcotics, and clandestine laboratory training and operations. As advisors to law enforcement and civil police programs, PBSI assists funding agencies and host countries by providing management oversight to program operations and related activities, formulating policy recommendations, coordinating training missions, implementing community relation programs and ensuring adherence to statutory and regulatory responsibilities.
