The Clandestine Lab Pocket Guide is a great resource for anyone involved in the detection, identification or investigation of clandestine
laboratories. Additionally, it is tool for people involved in homeland security issues for it provided information on the detection, identification and investigation
of clandestine labs used by terrorist to manufacture illicit explosives.

Humana Press has contracted with Donnell Christian, Javed Khan and Thomas Kennedy to write Basic Prinsciples of Forensic Chemistry. The college level

abate the hazards associated with clandestine labs. The 64 plastic coated pages provide a ready reference for individuals who may encounter clandestine labs that
manufacture drugs or explosives during the course of their duties. It was developed by professionals who have been actively involved in the identification and
investigation of clandestine labs for over 15 years.

the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) and the International Standards Organization (ISO).Additionally, PBSI is
in the process of obtaining the credentials required to certify a facility to be in compliance with the laboratory accreditation requirements established by ISO 17025.

requirements established by 29 CRF 1910.120. The training will be open to all law enforcement, fire service and emergency responders who potentially encounter clandestine

Criminialist.us and Armor Forensics are preparing a series of clandestine lab training seminars for 2006. The one day seminars will address the
identification, collection and preservation of physical evidence at clandestine lab scenes. The focus will be how to safely handle the hazardous materials found
at clandestine labs, while at the same time maintaining the integrity of the evidence. A multi-day version with practical exercises will also be available. Seminars
can be arranged for dates prior to January 2006.

PBSI has scheduled two clandestine lab training seminars at the Western Forensic Law Enforcement Training Center in Pueblo Colorado. The July seminar
will be a “cook school” which will provide the participants the hands on opportunity to manufacture controlled substances under conditions similar to those
used by clandestine lab operators. The August seminar is focused at forensic chemists and will provide the opportunity to manufacture controlled substances and the
